Software QA Engineer

EasyPay Finance is seeking an experienced self-motivated QA Engineer who has a passion for a quality-oriented product; Collaborates with Product, Design, and Development teams to create effective testing solutions for products that meet highest levels of quality standards.

This person will be responsible for creating end-to-end test plans; Executing and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that objectives are met and validating that the software works as expected. The software should be tested for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with legacy and/or external systems.


  • Participate in testing efforts for weekly releases and ongoing application maintenance; Afterhours testing required at times
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Perform manual testing as needed
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet product needs
  • Manage the status of defects/changes and provide updates to the team daily
  • Attend/conduct meetings with the IT team, Business team and other application teams to accomplish project goals
  • Handle testing efforts for multiple projects/releases concurrently
  • Adapt to the needs of the group to coordinate testing efforts
  • Follow instructions and accomplish tasks as directed by Project or Development Lead
  • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes; Promptly bring serious defects to the attention of the Lead/Project Manager

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 2-3 years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Familiar with different tools such as Selenium, Appium, MySQL, C#, NUnit, REST API and Jira
  • Sound understanding of the software test cycle process
  • Proficient with bug tracking software
  • Able to create and run test cases that cover a wide variety of scenarios such as functional, regression, endurance, integration, and performance
  • Ability to learn the business logic quickly to interpret requirements and prioritize defects
  • Aptitude to troubleshoot using common sense approaches and to determine root causes using process of elimination
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet hard deadlines
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Adept to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Capacity to learn with minimal supervision in the fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience communicating effectively with teammates
  • Passionate, adaptable, and the desire to continually learn new skills
